CapMan appoints Frimodig as deputy CEO
Listed Finnish asset management company CapMan has appointed Joakim Frimodig as interim CEO and deputy CEO.
The appointment follows the resignation of the firm's existing CEO, Heikki Westerlund, after four years at the head of the business. Frimodig will initially take on the role of interim CEO until the appointment of a full-time replacement, and he will then continue as deputy CEO.
Frimodig joined CapMan in 2016 as a director in the strategic growth team and as a member of the management group. Prior to working for CapMan, he had been deputy managing partner at corporate finance house Summa Capital since 2004. He started his career as an associate adviser for Stockholm-based asset management firm Alfred Berg and ABN Amro Corporate Finance.
