Tesi launches €150m venture fund-of-funds
Finnish VC investor Tesi has launched a new venture fund-of-funds backed by Finnish institutional investors, with a тЌ150m capacity.
Like its predecessor, the KRR II fund-of-funds, the venture capital firm intends to direct KRR III capital into Finnish venture capital and small buyout funds.
Institutional investors in the fund include Finnish pension and insurance companies Ilmarinen, Keva, VER, Elo, LähiTapiola and Fennia.
Between 2009-2017, KRR I and KRR II invested in 19 Finnish venture capital and small buyout funds. These funds have, to date, invested in around 150 companies. With the launch of KRR III, Tesi expects to increase the number of portfolio companies to more than 300.
