Luminar launches maiden fund, targeting SEK 500m
Stockholm-based venture capital firm Luminar Ventures has launched its first seed-focused venture fund, which intends to raise SEK 500m.
The fund will invest in Sweden-based early-stage technology companies that are seeking to disrupt or transform industries with digital technologies and innovations.
Luminar is looking to lead larger seed rounds with an average investment of around SEK 10m per round, and will also commit to pre-seed and series-A investments.
Founding partners Magnus Bergman and Jacob Key established Luminar Ventures in 2017. Linda Höglund joined as CFO and Daniel Karsberg as investment manager.
