Nordic Capital appoints Johansson as general counsel
Nordic Capital has appointed Henrik Johansson as its general counsel, where he will be responsible for legal and structuring matters.
Currently a partner at Swedish law firm Mannheimer Swartling, Johansson will join Nordic Capital later this year.
The appointment follows Nordic Capital's organisational mandate to invest in its internal company structure and to develop, broaden and upgrade its in-house legal department.
Prior to joining, Johansson will have spent 11 years at Mannheimer Swartling, where he currently heads up the transaction structuring practice and is a member of the firm's M&A, corporate tax and private equity practice groups. He specialises in deal structuring, management incentive programmes, co-investments, partner and non-partner structures, and fund formation.
Nordic Capital's team comprises 125 people based in Stockholm, London, Jersey, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Luxembourg and Oslo.
