Creandum hires in-house general counsel

Stockholm-based VC firm Creandum has hired Carolina Walther from Swedish law firm Vinge for the newly created position of general counsel.
Walther will be responsible for running all transactions as well as being a resource for best legal practice, both internally and for Creandum's portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Creandum, Walther spent eight years at Vinge, where she worked on transactions and technology-related issues.
Creandum simultaneously announced the promotion of Denice Carbell to finance manager and Carl Fritjofsson and Simon Schmincke to partner. Carbell joined Creandum in 2016 as financial controller and will now be responsible for all finance-related activities within the firm.
Fritjofsson and Schmincke have been responsible for building out Creandum's San Francisco and Berlin offices respectively.
Creandum is currently investing from the €180m Creandum IV fund. The firm has made more than 75 investments out of its three offices since inception.
