Summa Equity hires Anna Ryott as chair
Summa Equity has hired Anna Ryott, the deputy CEO at Norrsken Foundation and former CEO of Swedfund International, as its new chairperson.
Summa's board of directors will include several newly elected members with backgrounds in value creation, investments and sustainability.
Working as deputy CEO at Norrsken Foundation, Ryott was formerly the CEO of the national Swedish development finance institution Swedfund. She was also the secretary-general of SOS Children's Villages. Prior to that, she held a range of management positions in the advertising sector and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey.
Recently elected directors to Summa Equity's board include Göran Carstedt, the chair of Summa Foundation, a charitable foundation and controlling shareholder of Summa Equity, along with Martin Skancke, chair of the UN's Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and Kari Olrud Moen, who has a background in consulting and also worked for McKinsey.
Per-Anders Enkvist, founder and CEO of Material Economics, a Swedish management consultancy, and Mirja Lehmler-Brown, a partner at Hayfin Capital Management, were also elected as directors to the board.
