ATP CEO resigns
Christian Hyldahl, the CEO of Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension (ATP), has announced his resignation to the pension fund's chairman of the board Torben M Andersen.
"I have decided to resign because parts of the surroundings that ATP depend on no longer have faith in me as CEO of ATP and I must draw the conclusion that this will not change," said Hyldahl. He added that there is an increasing risk that the reputation of ATP will suffer, which should be avoided.
Hyldahl decided to step down amid being linked to a dividend tax speculation over his previous role at Nordea.
Prior to joining ATP in 2016, Hyldahl served as head of Nordea Asset Management. He also worked as chief investment officer (CIO) and head of investments within Nordea Asset Management, and held several other roles at Nordea Markets.
ATP is expected to announce the appointment of a temporary CEO in the near future.
ATP has invested 10% of its portfolio to private equity as of June 2018. Private equity has been among the best performing asset classes over the first three quarters of the year, according to Q1-Q3 results.
The pension fund has recently committed to ATP Private Equity Partners VI, Via Venture Partners Fond III, and Seed Capital Denmark III.
