CatCap launches in Copenhagen with acquisition of DMC
Germany-based corporate finance firm CatCap has acquired the advisory activities of Dansk Merchant Capital (DMC).
DMC has taken on the name CatCap, and the office will serve as the firm's presence in Denmark. DMC will contribute M&A capabilities and experience in raising equity on Nasdaq Copenhagen as an active adviser in the field.
Anders Bo, who joined Dansk Merchant Capital in 2007, is now managing partner at CatCap. He was previously a director at HSH Nordbank in corporate finance. The division is also led by managing partner Flemming Pedersen. He was previously at BG Bank and HSH Nordbank, as well as a founding member of DMC.
CatCap acquired companies in both Stockholm and London in 2018 and now employs 70 staff across offices in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the UK.
