DevCo hires Intera's Laakso
Finnish private equity firm DevCo Partners has hired former Intera Partners executive Juhani Laakso as a partner.
Laakso will be responsible for sourcing and executing new investments in northern European companies.
DevCo was founded in 2014 and has been operating on a deal-by-deal basis with the support of its institutional investors.
Prior to joining DevCo, Laakso was partner at Intera for almost three years, before which he was an investment professional at Triton Partners for six years, where he sat on the board of portfolio companies Mehiläinen and Ambea, among others.
DevCo targets equity investments in medium-sized Nordic companies with revenues between €50-500m. It has a long-term development model with a focus on operational improvement to drive value creation.
