CapMan Growth hires partner for new growth fund
CapMan Growth has appointed Heikki Vesterinen as a partner to accelerate the launch of its second growth fund.
Based in Helsinki, Vesterinen joins from KPMG Finland where he worked for just over two years, most recently as the head of private equity.
Prior to that, he spent almost five years as CEO and CFO at Sievi Capital, and before that, he was an investment director at Finnish Industry Investment (TESI) for more than three and a half years.
He has 15 years' experience in growth finance, banking, M&A and advisory, as well as minority and majority investing.
The GP's new growth fund will succeed CapMan Growth Equity Fund, which held a final close in December 2017 on a hard-cap of €86m and has made €2-10m investments in 10 Nordic companies.
The new vehicle will target unlisted target companies with strong growth potential and make significant minority investments. CapMan's Growth portfolio currently consists of 10 companies.
