Capgemini to help Nordic Capital implement AI for portfolio companies
Nordic Capital hasТ mandated Capgemini to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning as value drivers within its portfolio companies.
The technology consultancy is already working with one of Nordic Capital's portfolio companies in the technology and payments sector to use machine learning algorithms to generate significant additional revenue.
The GP said discussions on how AI could support value creation are being carried out with portfolio companies across all sectors.
Nordic Capital recently signed an agreement to acquire financial advisor Max Matthiessen from Willis Towers Watson.
According to Unquote Data, the GP registered its new fund, Nordic Capital X, in March 2020; the vehicle is targeting €5bn and is larger than its previous fund of €4.3bn.
