
Verdane adds three to investment team
Verdane has appointed Fanny Stenmarck, Gustav Friberg, and Sebastian Stierncreutz to its investment team.
Stenmarck is based in Copenhagen and joins as an associate, while Friberg and Stierncreutz have joined as analysts and are based in Berlin and Helsinki respectively.
Stenmarck joins from Danske Bank where she worked for two years in corporate finance. Friberg was a management consultant intern at Arkwright Consulting, while Stierncreutz joined Verdane two years ago as an investment intern.
Verdane has also hired six new members in Stockholm, New York and Oslo for its in-house operational team called Elevate, namely Pauline Westerberg, Henrik Berg, Giles Whiting, Maria Anette Wittingsrud, Niklas Staberg, and Pål Bruu.
Verdane invests in digital consumer, software and sustainable society-related businesses, with 61 employees based in the Nordic region and Germany. Verdane's eight funds hold €2bn in total commitments.
The GP's most recent deals include the Swedish online cosmetics retailer Caia Cosmetics, Dutch online learning platform Studytube, and e-commerce platform Momox.
