
Verdane expands investment team in Denmark

Northern European growth investor Verdane has hired Nils Bouchet as an investment director in Denmark.
In his new role, Bouchet will focus on sourcing investments and supporting the growth of Verdane's digital consumer and software holdings.
He joins the GP from Nordea, where he spent more than two years as an associate director in its investment banking division.
Prior to that, he spent five years working at Carnegie Investment Bank, first as an associate and later as a senior associate.
Verdane has so far made 12 investments in Denmark, including maritime technology provider Danelec Marine; wind turbine component manufacturers PolyTech, JupiterBach and JSB; software businesses Scanmarket and Octoshape; and online white goods retailer Whiteaway.
It is currently deploying capital from its DKK 2.1bn Edda fund and the DKK 4.3bn Verdane Capital X fund.
