Alvarez & Marsal hires Platinum's Lundqvist

Lundqvist will be based in the firm's Hamburg office.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Lundqvist was vice-president of M&A operations in Platinum's London office. He also has previous experience with advisory firms including AlixPartners and Roland Berger, covering mandates including operational due diligence, restructuring and value creation.

The firm in April appointed Stefano Matalucci to head its PEPI group in Italy. Mike Trenouth, a managing director in London, co-heads the group in Europe.

Correction 29/05/2021: This article was amended to clarify that Lundqvist will head Alvarez & Marsal's PEPI Group in the Nordic region, as opposed to the whole practice.
