Verdane makes a series of promotions and hires

Verdane has promoted Christopher Parmo to partner and made several new hires.
Parmo joined the firm as COO in 2018 and has been responsible for building out Verdane Elevate, an in-house team assisting portfolio companies on the operational side. He has held senior executive roles at PE-backed companies in the technology and consulting spaces such as Norway-based Software Innovation and Visma, according to a press release.
Prior to joining Verdane, Parmo was the head of business development at Linas Matkasse for almost a year and a management consultant at Deloitte before that, according to LinkedIn. He co-founded online grocer Godtlevert, according to the press release.
Alongside Parmo’s promotion, three directors have been made principal: Max Carlsen, Karin Kans and Reed Snyder. According to the press release, the new promotions reflect Verdane’s ambitious growth plans.
Verdane is currently investing through funds including Verdane Edda II, which held a final close on EUR 540m in January 2021. Much like predecessor vehicles, the fund will invest between EUR 10m-150m in 12-15 high-growth Nordic companies in the software and consumer internet space, according to Unquote Data.
