BWB Partners preps exit of furniture group Holmris B8
BWB Partners is preparing an exit of portfolio company Holmris B8, a Danish furniture and interior solutions provider, in a process guided by Carnegie, three sources familiar with the situation said.
Preparation work is ongoing, and the process could be launched within weeks, one of the sources said.
Holmris B8 reported DKK 1.1bn (EUR 148m) revenue and DKK 106m (EUR 14m) realized EBITDA for FY22, ended in April, up from DKK 852.9m and DKK 45.5m in FY21, respectively.
The company is performing well and under BWB's ownership has transformed from an asset-heavy furniture producer to asset-light design house, one of the sources said.
While another of the sources agreed that it is a solid, well-managed business, they cautioned that some sponsors are likely to decline the opportunity given the sector's somewhat volatile nature.
BWB Partners acquired a 60% stake in Holmris B8 in 2017 for an undisclosed sum, with the remaining 40% retained by Henrik Holmris and Niels Henrik Lauritzen, senior employees, and Niels Due Jensen.
Alongside furniture, the company offers a variety of services such as delivery, assembly, handling of relocation, cable management, furniture storage, repairs and upgrades, care and maintenance, project management, site management, digital space management, and a take-back service, as per the company's website.
BWB Partners declined to comment. Holmris B8 directed to the sponsor. Carnegie did not respond to a request to comment.
