Westerlund proposed as new chairman of CapMan
In its AGM notice, Finnish private equity house CapMan, has proposed CEO Heikki Westerlund to become the group's new chairman.
Westerlund would replace Ari Tolppanen who was elected chairman in 2005 after having been the group CEO since 1989. If elected chairman, Westerlund will, like his predecessor, continue his work an investment professional in the firm.
Re-election was proposed for existing board members Sari Baldauf, Conny Karsson and Tapio Hintikka. CEO of Gimv, Koen Dejonckheere was proposed as new board member. A task force led by Hintikka will start the work replacing Westerlund as CEO.
