Alliance Venture and Springfondet merge
Norwegian early-stage investment firms Alliance Venture and Springfondet have merged to form Alliance Venture Spring.
The newly merged entity intends to apply for a NOK 250m seed grant funded by Innovation Norway, backed by the Norwegian government.
Alliance Venture Spring will be headquartered at Oslo Innovation Park to ensure its continued co-operation with Oslo University and local innovation clusters. The fund will invest in seed- and early-stage Norwegian ICT companies.
Investment firm Kistefos, which has previously invested in both Alliance Venture and Springfondet, and OsloTech have both shown an interest in investing in Alliance Venture Spring's new fund.
