Creandum strengthens investment advisory team

Simon Schmincke and Bjarke Staun-Olsen have joined Creandum’s investment advisory team.
Schmincke joins Creandum's Stockholm office from German VC Earlybird, where he had been a principal in the Berlin office since October 2013. He was notably involved in the investment in Movinga, which closed a $25m series-B this month. He also worked on Earlybird's investment in banking app Number26.
Prior to joining the German VC, Schmincke was entrepreneur in residence at Rocket Internet, where he co-founded HelloFresh USA and Foodpanda. At Creandum, he will work on fintech, consumer and developer technology deals in the German and wider European market.
Staun-Olsen also relocates from Berlin, where he ran Rocket Internet's beauty marketplace Vaniday. In 2008, Olsen founded fintech company Alipes Capital, in which he is still a shareholder. He has also worked for McKinsey and Goldman Sachs in the past. Olsen will focus on the Nordic market for Creandum.
