Permira among bidders for Dometic
Permira is among the bidders for Dometic, a producer of leisure products for the caravan and motor home industry, according to reports.
It is believed that the deal could be worth £1bn. BC Partners acquired the company in 2005 but creditors took control of the company in 2009 following a covenant breach. Key lenders to the company include Nordea and Mizuho.
The Swedish company manufactures products such as portable fridges, coolers and air conditioners.
