Ratos-backed Stofa acquires Canal Digital cable-TV
Ratos-backed Stofa A/S has acquired the Danish cable-TV business of Canal Digital AS for an enterprise value of DKK 100m.
The investor has wholly funded the transaction with equity. Stofa is a triple-play operator, offering broadband, cable-TV and telecommunication, and was acquired by Ratos in July 2010 for an enterprise value of DKK 1.09bn. In 2009, Stofa generated a turnover of DKK 1.024bn and EBITA of DKK 92m.
The Danish cable-TV business of Canal Digital generated a turnover of DKK 383m in 2009 and employs 42.
