
Nordic Capital hires Shah as partner
Swedish GP Nordic Capital has appointed Raj Shah as a partner in its London-based healthcare team.
Shah joins Nordic Capital from a position as co-head of EMEA healthcare investment banking at Goldman Sachs International, having been at the bank for more than a decade.
He was part of the Goldman Sachs team involved in Nordic Capital's €9.6bn sale of pharmaceuticals company Nycomed to Takeda in 2011.
Shah worked as a surgeon and joined pharmaceutical firm Bristol-Myers Squibb before his move to Goldman Sachs.
