
Ratos sells stake in Lindab
Ratos has sold 8.85m shares in Lindab International AB for SEK 867m, giving the investor an exit profit of approximately SEK 540m.
The shares for the listed company were sold at SEK 98 each and Ratos retains an 11% stake after the transaction. A lock down period is in place until 9 February 2011 for the remaining shares.
Ratos, Skandia Liv and the Sixth AP fund took Lindab private in 2001 in a transaction that valued the company at SEK 3.4bn. The company was re-listed in 2006 for SEK 110 per share. Ratos retained a 22% stake in the company after the flotation.
Lindab's shares were trading at SEK 104.5 at close on 8 November.
