Investinor et al. inject NOK 25m in Smartfish
Investinor has led a NOK 25m investment in Smartfish, a Norwegian biotech company that offers synergistic omega-3 based emulsions.
Half of the capital in the private placement was provided by Investinor. Funding will enable the company to strengthen its organisation, increase sales and focus on further product development.
Founded in 2001, Smartfish develops synergistic, omega-3 based emulsions of active nutrients for brain health, heart health, immune system and recovery. The company is based in Oslo and generated a turnover of NOK 6.2m in 2010.
