
EQT acquires Hafslund Fibernett
EQT has acquired Norwegian optical fibre network operator Hafslund Fibernett AS (HFN) from Hafslund Venture.
The transaction has an equity value of NOK 1.477bn and equity for the transaction is provided by the EQT V fund. HFN serves around 150 customers in the Greater Oslo area, including Internet Service Providers and corporate customers.
Sales in 2010 are predicted to be approximately NOK 180m with an EBITDA of NOK 127m. This follows annual growth of more than 30% over the past three years.
