Eqvitec in secondary direct transaction with Verdane
Eqvitec Partners and the investors in Eqvitec Technology Fund II have completed a secondary direct transaction with Verdane Capital.
The transaction will see Verdane Capital VII acquire and take over management of Eqvitec Technology Fund II and its portfolio companies. In conjunction with the transaction, the acquired fund will change name to Verdane ETF II SPV.
Follow-on capital has been set aside for future investment opportunities and the transaction will allow the fund to be expanded beyond its 10-year lifespan. Eqvitec has remained an investor in the fund and will provide certain advisory services during an interim period.
