
Industrifonden et al. invest in Airec
Industrifonden and RWE Innogy have invested SEK 25m in Malmö-based Airec AB.
The company develops and commercialises efficient gas heat exchangers. Airec's products are currently used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and energy use in boilers, aircraft turbines and biogas- and process systems. The company was founded in 2000 and currently generates a turnover of approximately SEK 20m.
Funding will support an international expansion. Airec currently sells in Europe and Asia and the expansion will focus on new markets such as the US.
