
Partner promotions at CapMan
CapMan has announced a number of senior promotions.
Mika Matikainen has been promoted to senior partner. He joined CapMan in 2006 and is currently head of real estate. Matikainen holds an MSc in Economics and an M.Soc.Sc. He previously worked at UBS Investment Bank in London.
Alexander Vlasov has been promoted to partner. He joined in 2008 and works with CapMan's Russia Fund from Moscow. He holds an MSc in Economics and an MSc in Engineering. Vlasov previously worked at Norum, and Ernst & Young Norway.
Karl Åberg has been promoted to partner. He is based in Stockholm where he has worked with CapMan's Public Market fund since 2009. He holds an MSc in Economics and previously worked for Handelsbanken Corporate Finance.
Niklas Östborn has been promoted to partner. He is responsible for CapMan's Mezzanine V fund and re-joined in 2009 after having worked for the company between 2004 and 2006. Östborn holds an MSc in Economics and has previously worked with CapitalSource and Lehman Brothers in London.
