Nordic Capital divests Menigo to Brakes Group
The deal sees Nordic Capital divest the majority of its stake in the business and retain 33%.
Stockholm-based Menigo (formerly ICA Meny) is a Swedish food service company, which supplies some 16,000 customers ranging from small eateries and cafés to luxury restaurants, hotel chains and institutions. With a range of some 38,000 products and about 900 staff, the company reported SEK 5bn in sales.
London-based Brakes Group supplies food, drinks and equipment to the food service sector. The company currently has operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France and a turnover of £2.2bn.
