EQT-backed Munksjö acquires ArjoWiggins divisions
EQTтs portfolio company MunksjУЖ AB is set to acquire the decor, abrasives, thin paper and fine arts businesses of ArjoWiggins for тЌ95m.
ArjoWiggins is based in France and is a manufacturer of creative and technical paper and has operations in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. The total sales for the acquired businesses amount to €220m.
EQT acquired Jönköping-based Munksjö AB in 2004. The company is a producer of decor and specialty paper. Following the acquisition, the combined group's net sales would amount to approximately €600m and the number of employees would be around 1,750.
