Industrifonden co-invests in RxEye
Industrifonden (Swedish Industrial Development Fund) and Praktikerinvest have provided SEK 20m for medical imaging provider RxEye.
The company provides solutions to what it claims is an existing lack of resources and competence within radiology at hospitals, via a web-based service. Clients can upload x-ray images and have experienced radiologists examine them, reducing the cost associated with having to employ temporary staff.
The investment will support the launch of the service in Sweden initially, with plans to enter the UK market next year.
