
Finnish Industry Investment appoints two
Government-backed investment company Finnish Industry Investment has appointed Heikki Vesterinen investment director in its buyout and M&A team.
Vesterinen will also work on the €100m stabilisation financing programme. Previously a director with Kaupthing Bank, he has also worked as a finance manager with Finnfund, and as consultant at Ernst & Young.
Finally, Finnish Industry Investment has also bolstered its communications team, hiring Anna Kilpeläinen. She joins from the British Embassy where she promoted direct investments and bilateral trade between Finland and the UK in the technology sectors. Kilpeläinen will start her new role as communications officer 1 March.
