Alvarez & Marsal opens Nordic practice
Advisory services firm Alvarez & Marsal has opened a practice covering the Nordic region, to be led by managing partner Joerg Weidenfeld.
Weidenfeld, the new head of the Nordic region, rejoins Alvarez & Marsal seven years after leaving the firm. He was a restructuring adviser at the transaction services firm from 2007-2009, before leaving to found his own business, Finland-based restructuring and performance improvement advisory house Nordic Restructuring.
Weidenfeld was most recently managing partner at the company, before rejoining Alvarez & Marsal.
