Ratos sells Camfil for SEK 1.3bn
Ratos has wholly sold its stake in Camfil for SEK 1.325bn, giving the investor and exit profit of approximately SEK 610m.
The exit sees the company generate an annual IRR of 13%, with the turnover increasing from SEK 2.277bn in 2000 to SEK 4.503bn in 2009 and EBITA from SEK 96m to SEK 417m.
Ratos acquired a 30% stake in Camfil in 2000 for SEK 450m. In 2008, Ratos refinanced a SEK 535m loan in the company.
Camfil produces and develops air filters and clean air solutions. The company employs approximately 3,400 people.
