
Altor sells Ferrosan to Pfizer
Altor has sold Danish consumer health company Ferrosan Consumer Health (FCH) to Pfizer Inc.
The investor acquired a stake in the company in 2005. Since the initial investment FCH's EBITDA has increased from DKK 147m to DKK 302m in 2010, representing an annual increase of 15%. The investor has supported the company through focusing on key brands in core markets, improving the operational efficiency and a reorganisation of the governance structure.
Altor will maintain its involvement in Ferrosan Medical Devices.
