Altor-backed Aalborg mulls IPO
According to reports, Danish company Aalborg Industries is investigating the possibility of an IPO.
The listing could take place this year, providing market conditions are right.
Private equity fund Altor Equity Partners holds two thirds of the company shares, while LD Invest Equity and management own the balance.
Altor acquired the company in 2005 from a consortium led by private equity fund Axcel.
Aalborg Industries, which has factories in Denmark, China, Brazil and Vietnam, increased its sales revenues by 19% last year to DKK 3.4 bn, most of which comes from sales abroad.
