Pohjola Asset Management appoints new CIO
Pohjola Asset Management Ltd, part of Finnish banking group Pohjola, has appointed Veli-Pekka Heikkinen chief investment officer, starting April 2010.
Heikkinen, who will also take a seat on the executive committee, has previously held similar roles at Danske Capital. At Pohjola Asset Management, he replaces Jari Puhakka, who will join Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company as director of investments.
