
Kinnevik appoints Stenbeck as executive chairman

Investment AB Kinnevik has promoted chairman Cristina Stenbeck to executive chairman and board member Amelia Fawcett to deputy chairman.
Stenbeck's role will include leading key strategic initiatives and establishing and managing international partnerships. She will develop the companies in core markets and new geographies, sourcing investments directly and through partnerships.
Fawcett, who joined the Kinnevik board in 2011, will contribute to the entrepreneurial leadership of the company in her new capacity.
On Wednesday 23 October, Kinnevik held the lead position on the Stockholm Stock Exchange in terms of B-share price, surpassing Nordic grocery retailer Ica Gruppen, following the release of its interim report.
The report stated the group's total revenue amounted to SEK 340m and net profit per share was SEK 20.36 in Q3. New investments amounted to SEK 592, including a SEK 575m investment in Rocket Internet. Net asset value increased by 4% during the first nine months of the year.
