
Herkules acquires Elis
Norwegian GP Herkules Capital has wholly acquired software company Elis AS from Data in Vest AS, Hafslund Venture and Elis employees.
Founded in 1992, Elis develops CRM- and process systems for the utility sector, currently supplying more than 90 companies in the sector. In 2009, revenues amounted to NOK 54m. The company is headquartered in Dale, Norway, and employs 63.
The investment was made from Herkules' third fund which closed in 2008 on NOK 6bn. The deal is subject to approval from the Norwegian competition authorities.
