EQT and Goldman Sachs cancel ISS listing
According to press reports, EQT (55%) and Goldman Sachs (45%) have cancelled the listing of ISS, the hygiene services company, due to the shaky stock market conditions. The value of the listing was estimated to be worth between DKK 45-50bn, and it would have reaped very strong exit multiples for the owners. The business was acquired in March 2005, when the two investors de-listed the company from the Copenhagen Stock Exchange for approximately EUR3bn (DKK 30bn) (March 2005, page 16).
