
CapMan to hire new CEO
CapMan’s board of directors has started a search process to replace its current CEO Lennart Simonsen, who is resigning from his position as part of the firm’s development programme.
The termination will be effective on 8 February 2013. CapMan CFO Niko Haavisto has been appointed interim CEO. Heikki Westerlund is chairman of the company's board.
CapMan Group's turnover totalled €27.3m in 2012, a 15.8% drop compared to January-December 2011 (€32.4m). The group's operating profit was €2.6m, compared to €11.1m in 2011, a decrease of 76.5%. Earnings per share were 0.3 cts, compared to 10.1 cts in 2011.
CapMan held a first close at €151.8m for its CapMan Buyout X fund in November 2012. The board of directors of CapMan will propose that no dividend be paid for 2012.
