BaltCap acquires Air Maintenance Estonia
BaltCap has acquired the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company Air Maintenance Estonia (AME) from Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).
SAS acquired AME in 2003, and is now selling off the business as part of a strategy to divest non-core entities.
AME primarily provides maintenance services to aircrafts from Estonian Air. In 2009 it generated revenues of EEK 196m. Founded in 1995, it employs 180 people.
