Vaaka takes majority stake in Molok
Finnish buyout firm Vaaka Partners has acquired a majority stake in Nokia-based waste receptacle business Molok in an MBO.
The deal sees Vaaka buy a controlling stake in the business from founder Veikko Salli and his family, which will reinvest alongside the GP and management.
Molok CEO Hannu Jokinen will remain in place at the head of the company, which plans to use its newly raised capital to support further international expansion. The company currently claims to generate more than 70% of its revenues from exports.

Founded in 1991, Molok is a manufacturer of waste receptacles with underground containers.
The company is headquartered in Nokia and has its products manufactured in Europe, North America and China.
