
BDC takes majority stake in Vitamin Well
Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC) has acquired a majority stake in Swedish vitamin drinks business Vitamin Well.
BDC told unquote" the deal was a buyout from the company's management and a diverse group of shareholders. Vitamin Well's management team will re-invest alongside BDC, which financed the deal via its 2016-vintage BDC III vehicle.
Following the acquisition, BDC intends to underpin Vitamin Well's growth in the Nordic market and expand its European presence, the GP said in a statement.

Founded in 2006, Vitamin Well is a maker of drinks marketed in the context of healthy living.
The company's products include the drinks brands Vitamin Well, Vitamin Well Free, Nobe aloe vera, Nocco and Vitamin Well+.
Based in Stockholm, Vitamin Well operates in the Nordic region as well as continental Europe.
