Vækst-Invest Nordjylland backs Miralix MBO
Danish private equity firm VУІkst-Invest Nordjylland has backed the MBO of Hedensted-based customer service software developer Miralix.
The deal saw the GP and three of the company's managers – sales manager Michael Kristiansen, development manager Jimmi Hjuler and technical manager Kasper Kirkeby – acquire a 70% stake in the business from Preben Kirkeby, the company's CEO. Following the transaction, the GP purchased a controlling stake in the business, while Kirkeby will retain a minority holding.
According to a statement, the company will keep following its current business strategy and continue to expand internationally.

Headquartered in Hedensted, the company also has a presence in Køge and employs a staff of 35.
