Generationsskifte Invest takes majority stake in TCA Lift
Danish private equity firm Generationsskifte Invest has acquired a 65% stake in lift manufacturer TCA Lift.
The GP's investment in TCA is expected to be used for strengthening the company's sales efforts.
Existing owners and directors Finn Schlitterlau and Thyge Mikkelsen will stay in charge of the business, retaining their 35% stake. Generationsskifte's Jens Heimburger, Enrico Krog Iversen and Robert Spliid will join the company's board.
Company
Headquartered in Odense, TCA manufactures the spider lift, an industrial lift designed to pass through a regular door opening. The company was founded in 2011 by engineering business Skako after it was bought out from its former parent company E Falck Schmidt in the late 1970s.
