Pamica buys majority stake in fire protection company Cupola
Swedish private equity firm Pamica has acquired a majority stake in fire protection systems provider Cupola.
Financial details were not disclosed. Original founder Stefan Johansson remains the largest single owner after Pamica.
Pamica was established in 2015 as a joint venture with Luxembourg-based Catella Bank. It invests in private, mature growth companies, primarily through buyout structures. The GP is headquartered in Halmstad, Sweden.

Founded in 1992, Cupola offers a range of products including fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire protection documentation, training and installation. It also offers services to ensure that public and business environments are properly prepared for fire, evacuation and unforeseen events. The company employs 115 staff and posted a turnover of around SEK 150m in 2016.
