EQT acquires Candidator
EQT's mid-cap vehicle, EQT Mid Market Europe, has acquired Swedish IT services and outsourcing provider Candidator from private investment company Sobro.
With the fresh capital, the firm intends to strengthen its growth strategy by developing its service offering, both organically and through acquisitions in the fragmented Nordic managed IT services market.
Candidator stated it expects growth to be boosted by underlying trends including an increased share of IT outsourcing, and growing cloud adoption.
Company
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Alingsås, Sweden, Candidator provides service contracts including cloud, hosting and application management. The company employs a staff of 300 in Sweden and Norway. It posted an annual turnover of €45m in 2017.
