
EdRip backs Prenax MBO
Edmond De Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRip) has backed the management buyout of Prenax, a French corporate subscription agent.
This is the fourth transaction carried out by Rothschild's €315m ActoMezz III fund, which closed in 2017. The investment will be used to fund the firm's continued expansion.
The company was acquired from family office Arts et Biens, which owned 92% of Prenax.
Company
Founded in 1993 in Sweden, Prenax is a subscription agency. Its customers are private companies, government agencies and academics.
The firm's revenues have tripled over the last 10 years, reaching €130m in 2017 across eight countries (UK, France, US, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Australia) due to organic growth and the acquisition of seven companies between 2006-2017.
