
Adelis acquires majority stake in Sogemedier
Swedish private equity house Adelis Equity Partners has acquired a majority stake in Danish digital adviser and media house Sogemedier from owner Allan Damborg.
The GP confirmed it had bought a majority stake in Sogemedier but declined to comment on the financial details.
According to Danish daily Børsen, Adelis bought a 60% equity stake in the media house with an estimated valuation of DKK 250m.
The paper also reported that Sogemedier was advised by Deloitte in a sales process that attracted 22 potential bidders but ended in face-off between three private equity firms.
Adelis is currently investing from its latest vehicle, Adelis Equity Partners Fund II, which held a final close on €600m in June 2017. The buyout house typically invests in small and medium-sized Nordic businesses with enterprise values in the €20-200m range.
